It would be nice if in some future release a version of the manual could be released with black typefont. The grey font is almost impossible for me to read on screen. I understand it was done that way on purpose.

me too...I haven't been able to figure out a way to change it to "regular" black font for printing....on my company high speed printer....which is ok for me to do.
I think I did but not sure I was able to but will certainly check that one out again...as I recall my IT person advised it would not allow the change...but can forward the manual to me IT person again.
thanks
Yes, the "accesibility" feature does work (at least, it did for me).
I'm guessing they were trying to save us ink if we printed it? But it's much better and easier on the eyes for me now.
Here's how I did it:
To change text colors:
1. Choose Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Adobe Reader >Preferences (Mac OS) and select Accessibility.
2.Select "Replace Document Colors."
3.To change the text color, click Document Text.
4.Do one of the following:
l Click a color swatch for one of the preset colors.
2 Click Other Color, and then define and select a custom color in
the "color picker".
To avoid messing with any other text and drawings I left the 2 checkboxes, in the screenshot, empty.
