Thread: A little problem with ADF1

Default A little problem with ADF1

    Hi:

I am having a little problem selecting ADF frequencies with the ADF1 selector. Sometimes I am able to select the frequency on the ground, but once airborne, the selector is stuck on the 100.0 frequency and cannot be changed, not even the band selector will do the trick. I have no problem with the ADF2, only with number one.

Can someone give me a hint as to why this might be happening? I fly a lot south of the Rio Grande, where NDBs are still in use as part of airways and approach procedures.

    Regards

    Hello,
simple solution : you have to deactivate pushback buttons on p/b gauge (all lights should be extinguish), of course after p/b & s/u ;-). That's all.

Must admit I've never had a problem with it and I'm unaware of any connection with the pushback button?

Thanks Gwidon. I will give it a try tonight because right now I am at the office. Yes Paul, it sounds strange but I will report later.

    Default PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!

    Hi:

The solution worked perfectly as suggested. Apparently there is a conflict with the sounds of the RCB pushback gauge addon. If the sound is enabled you are unable to select frequencies in ADF1. As soon as you turn off the sound, the functionality is back.

Nice little trick. Maybe good enough for the FAQ's?

Just for the sake of trying it I did, Yes there is a bug with the pushback button. One more tiny item to fix in the service pack. But I still love this AC more then any!

    Dear friends ,
this isn't a bug of awesome DF727. This bug applies only p/b gauge. The same inapropriate behaviour I notice in many FS's add-ons (for example RFP 747-200).

I love DF727 as well ;-))) Not still, forever ;-)))

Just to clarify, are you guy's that are having the ADF issue talking about the built-in pushback button on the overhead(that simply starts MS pushback sequence) or are you using an add-on pushback gauge?

    Hi Todd:

The problem is with the RCB pushback gauge addon, not not with the built-in pushback. This only applies to those of us who followed the instructions on the manual to add the RCB gauge.
