Can't use the 727 with Skawkbox !! ...... Please help !!

Hope someone can help me on this one.

I've flew the 727 quite a few time without using Skawkbox and it was working amazaingly.

But the problems starting when I tried to fly online on Vatsim.
I load the plane exactly the way it is requested to be done (with default FS9 flight). Then I connect all the Skawkbox utilities. Fire up my batteries, Nav light on .. Get the APU running , AND THEN !!!!, when I go to put my essential power on APU and try to connect the circuit braker . BANG ... no more FS9.....

I'm I the only one getting this.

Very strange. I run the DF727 from a cold and dark setup almost every day on vatsim without trouble.


Perhaps try getting the electrics set up then connect to vatsim just to see?

the 727 froze up on my twice because I was on VATSIM while starting the engines, so I tried starting them and THEN logging on to VATSIM, but to no avail. Froze soon after I connected. Any Ideas?

1 - If you are using the dll to put SB inside FS try to use the exe instead (can't remember the name since I don't use SB2 for some time). Running SB inside FS could be the problem;

2 - Do not connect the multiplayer.

Maybe one of the above will do the trick.

I have the same problem with IVAP interface .... CTD when i activate the electrical bus or i change the efis zoom .... when I fly off line no problem !!

Hi José, I never use the original hostSB.dll, I use the addon.
I don't think it's actually the electrical system, but rather something that starts when electrical power is added.

Well, no problems today. Used squawkbox for about 30 minutes without incident. I was using the Vistaliners model but I don't think that's relevant.

I was betting more in the multiplayer and the interaction with the tcas since there are reports from SB2 and IVAP users. To see that it's easy go in to an empty airport turn on electrical in the 727 then see in Servinfo were there are planes and switch to that place.
