Hi all,
In AOM Page 163 there is a table for APU fuel consumption but my 727 doesn't use fuel.
Guys what about your 727?? Do I missing something or it's a bug?
Regards,
Bozhan Özsoy.

It's not a bug, but like all FS APU's, it's simulated. Unless you know of a product that does actually use fuel?
The info should really not even be in the manual as it serves no purpose in FS.
The other thing of course, is that given the relative driblle of fuel used by the APU, it doesn't really make a whole lot of difference to fuel planning.
Thanks for pointing it out though, Ingo will pick this up and make the change to the manual.

Paul please, just tell me APU fuel consumption is not simulated and I'll take it as is :)

AOM have really good reading and It's good info about 727, What will left after moving all not simulated items?
"Unless you know of a product that does actually use fuel?"
I'm not writing this because complaining "why we don't have it simulated in 727?" , Yep some others did it, in case you didn't know..

It doesn't use fuel.

I didn't, that's why I asked who may have, but you didn't say :-)

Hehehe, now this isn't the same thing as a 727, but I remember from work that a 757/737 APU averaged about 30 gallons/hr when running.

727 APU burns about 400 lbs an hour.
Yes, I know of a product that the APU does eat fuel like the real aircraft :) Feelthere's most recent product the ERJ-145 PIC, if DF would try to simulate this, which I think would be nice, the fuel is drawn from the number 2 fuel tank.
Actually, Ready for Pushback 747-200 APU burns fuel.
Please read the forum rules, folks.
APU burning fuel or not, no promotion / or even mention of other developer's products / features by name at this forum.
This is just a common courtesy to us, and one we do expect all to follow.
Thanks. :-)
Happy Holidays,

Not meaning to be rude, or contradict you, Lou, but when one of the developers (Paul) asks, what is so wrong with answering him?
