I just want to say a heartly thank you for the DF727.

As a passionate hand-flyer, I was completely overwhelmed by the 727 flight characteristics. Smooth as silk, certainly one of the best there is for FS9.

I'd like to add that this 727 just blew my mind as far as how much work I did one my first two refresher trips, was a quick one ATL-CLT-ATL. I was used to the CS727 and you didn't do half the work that you do in the DF727, way to go DF!!!! I think now once I get home I'll pull those Eastern 727 ground school VHS tapes I have, dad was a F/E on the 727 for Eastern back in the 80's, so I'll have and review the 727 systems so it will be easier to run the scan pattern and checklists. I am kind of surprised though that there are no APU sounds, still great job DF.

I'm not sure the APU is audible in the cockpit of the 727. There of course, would be a bit of other sounds, fans, etc., but the actual sound of the apu itself would be almost nil.

Yea, that was what I was meaning Darrell, not the APU itself unless of course your looking at it from the outside, but the other side items when the APU is cranked and maybe I'm just losing my hearing LOL. We better start watching the old wings and have the soap and water ready when the APU starts to blacken the plane a bit :)
