Default Overhead Panel resize and I see gound what did I miss

Normally if you resize the overhead panel while in the first officer pannel the area around the smaller overhead pannel is still the main first officer panel...and for example the horizon on the left ...mine is ground and building or ...holly cow at 20,000 ft. hope I don't fall. What did I mess up? I do not have a clue.

I was thinking the same. I can't visualize what you're saying:) Can you post a screenshot?

Carl, the panel logic is designed to maintain FPS by not displaying one full screen panel on top of the other. So when the OH is open, the main panels will be closed......you can't see this of course until someone starts playing with the panel sizes!!!

Thank you, thank you...I thought I was going nuts with not knowing how to resize a panel....and maintain the main panel.

Also thanks for understanding what I meant.

there is always a but....so here goes the BUT ...after takeoff and on final approache is is nice to hit the owerhead....the resized and smaller version with the main panel still there and still be able to see "where you are" ...hit the lights check everything and then jump back to the main panel without seeing the clouds and ground...this is DEFINATELY not a big deal but a nice feature that was in me dream girl the DF 737...guess it can not be done anymore...no problem.

    Thanks for the response.

I would like to suggest this be added to the FAQ since so many of us are used to panel changes with no problem.
