Default Deleting an Aircraft with Text-o-Matic

Is it posible to delete an aircraft that has been installed with Text-o-Matic? For example if a small correction has been made to the texture, and you don't want to keep the older one..

    Thx.

Sure. You need to do it manually though. Simply delete the texture folder of the particular repaint, then delete the corresponding entry in the aircraft config file so it doesn't show up in the drop-down list in FS.

I think when you delete the entry in the aircraft.cfg, you should re-number the aircraft in the aircraft.cfg to eliminate the sequence hole... otherwise I think there's a problem the next time you add a livery. -- Dick Bixler

Do you mean delete everything following [fltsim4] -- 17 lines of text?

The reason i ask is i tried to repaint the 727-100 with the Continental template, but when i loaded the aircraft in FS9 it appeared the template was too big for the plane. ie the "continental" on the sides was wrapped over itself at the nose. I want to delete it and try again.

If you just want to try redoing the same livery, you can just have TOM overwrite the other one that's messed up by giving it the same template name and folder name. There would be no need to delete is first in this case. If you do want to delete a livery you need to delete everyting included in (FlightSim.X).

I think what you did was painted the -200 section of the template and applied it to the -100 model in text-o-matic.
