From Peter McLeland? Haven't seen any posts from him in a while and just wondered if he's okay.

Just glad to know you're well, I had asked over at EFFC as well, where Francois replied to let me know you'd spoken to him.

Thanks for letting me know anyhow. I'd missed ur little stories and screenies around the place. Haven't flown much lately, but still pop in the forums and sites to see what's new, that's how I noticed ur last post seemed ages ago. So naturally enquired after somebody I like to think of as one of my online friends.

Good to hear from you anyway. BTW just looked at that screenshot forum, and if you don't mind me asking: where did you get that Comet? What a beauty.

It is David Maltby's and freeware...It is a beauty and I love it, but I only flew in it as a passenger in real life :)

At least you got to go in one Peter, I missed out as they grounded her somewhere around the time I was knee-high... to a grasshopper.

I've always felt the British Aviation industry gets a raw deal there, plenty of DC10's crashed but did they ground them? No, The MD80 has had mishaps, it's inherantly an unsafe design, but Concorde has one accident and she got grounded and killed off ultimately. Same with the Comet, a couple of accidents and she was killed off. Yet the military version flies to this day proving that she was really quite a safe design.

Thanks for pointing me to the Comet anyway, I shall download it soon.
