Thread: Cardinal 177RG 2D Panel in FS9

  1. Default Cardinal 177RG 2D Panel in FS9

I’ve searched this forum for some answers to my problem but haven’t found any.

I bought the Cessna Cardinal for FS2k2. It is my primary use general aviation aircraft. Love it!!

Well, I’ve finally upgraded to FS2k4 and reloaded the Cardinal as well as the FS9 update available on the Flight1 site. All went well except the 177RG 2D panel doesn’t show up right. The 177 fixed gear 2D panel looks great and both VC’s, only problems is with this panel. Here’s a screen shot:

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Rick,

The main 2D panel bitmap is missing. (????)

    My suggestion:

Just unistall, then download the whole new product fresh. When installing, be sure to select FS2004. The current download version is compatible with both sims. :-)

    Lou-

I see you're back from San Juan! How was it?

Little bit of a weather difference between there and here? ;-)

    Lou,

Many thanks for your expedient reply. I did as you instructed and it worked. Strange, the files in the 177RG were exactly the same either way. Perhaps a cfg file was corrupted somehow on the first attempt.

Anyway, back flying the Cardinal again and loving it.

    Thanks for the help

    PS
Excuse me for my naiveté (not being an “insider”) I’m not sure what A36 means.
