Very nicely done, Peter. An entertaining gallop about the fences, I'd say. Sea traffic, seaplane traffic, and support vehicles, all a nice touch. Your shots sure show the magic of the place. :-)

Yes, there is a lot going on there and I've grown rather fond of the place. The approaches are interesting too...31 is fairly normal but with rising ground in the late approach the radar altimeter is often quite a bit lower that the pressure one. Runway 13 needs special care as the ILS is set to a 4.5 degree slope because of high ground a little left of the approach line.
Another thing I noticed today with the 727 were the co-pilot calls...he had a very pronounced European accent (Swedish?) and he spoke very clearly with the odd calls that I had not heard before...for instance, he called "Outer Marker"...I kept feeling I should look to the right to see what he looked like...I think in my minds eye I saw him wearing some sort of warm woolley hat :-roll
