We're going to need to see 75% or better saying yes to even consider it.
I'm surprised ANYONE is saying no, because:
1. You will not be paying extra for it.
2. If you do not want to fly the float version, you do not choose it from the aircraft menu.
Considering the above, I'd be curious to hear the reasons from those who said "no".
I fly for real, and I was the first to answer "yes"!

I said no. And the reason I said no is because you guys have built a reputation around building as accurate as possible models designed around REAL existing airplanes. I personally think you would be opening yourself (Dreamfleet) up to further unrealistic expectations from the simming public. You know how it goes, "well you did it with the bonanza why can't you put floats on my 737 or whatever." Floats for an example. Just a personal preferance. I like the fact that you build airplanes on something that really exists. Give the simming public an inch they'll want a mile.
I'm going to say yes...there is probably no chance that I'll fly it, as I'm not much of a sea plane pilot, however there are those out there that would fly it so why ruin it for them. Lou has the point that if you don't want to fly it, don't fly it. I think that Mikko has put effort into the float version, so why not include it. So in short...
1.) I'm trying to put you guys over the 75% mark...
2.) No, I probably won't fly it, but there are those who want it, and including it doesn't hurt people who don't fly it...
Also, DreamFleet has a reputation for excellent panels and aircraft, I odn't think the simming public is going to ask for a 737 on floats, don't be asinine.

BTW Lou, I love your new banners, great choice of colors :)
Bob, that statement about the 737 was not meant to be taken seriously...but merely as an example. I am well aware of Dreamfleet's quality as I own several of their models. It's just that some people want the unrealistic. And i can see those types come out of the woodwork and start to expect Dreamfleet to start including models that don't exist. I don't deny that Mikko has talent and I also acknowledge that I have the choice of not using that version of the aircraft. Lou wanted to know who voted no, so I came forth.
Sorry about my earlier comments, Newguy, I was in a impatient mood...I apologize. You're entitled to your own opinions ;)...

no big deal. I didn't take it as such.
I voted yes, cause I'll fly it. I'd love a 200 mph floatplane :-).
The beauty of flightsim is that you can have a little fantasy...
I fly for real and I voted yes. Apart from anything else (ie it's free..) I think a real world Bonanza on floats isa superb idea that has never been realised. Should be fun for those that choose to fly it and along with a dose of "as real as it gets" that's what my simming in FS9 is all about.
Agreed; if no such plane exists don't model it.
Cheers,
Bert
