Thread: Create Debug Failed

  1. Default Create Debug Failed

Whenever I try to open Dreamfleet 737 I get the above message and flight sim 2002 closes.

Everything else on flight sim works normally.

    Any help please.

If you are using FSUIPC, goto FS2002\Modules and find FSUIPC.dll

Now rename it temporarily to FSUIPC.dll.dis

Now start FS2002 and try it again...if it still malfunctions then it is nothing to do with FSUIPC.

If it is now OK then the version of FSUIPC is not agreeing with your Dreamfleet B737-400 and you should revert to an older version that it likes :-) Or even no FSUIPC at all :-roll

OK so it is not an FSUIPC issue...I would reinstall the Dreamfleet B737-400 but before you do that go here:-

    X:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\Flight One Software\737 Flight Management Computer\Data

and look for a file there called "magdec.fmc"...make a copy of this file and put it in a safe place. The reason I say this is because for some reason when you do a full re-install of the Dreamfleet, it will often forget to put in this file.

When you have re-installed go there again and check that the file is present.

The re-installation will put a very old FSUIPC.dll in...but this is the one it likes best, so you may prefer to leave it that way.

Is there any one out there who can help as b737 is unusable at the moment, I have tried all the above steps to no avail.

Have you tried re-extracting the installation file from your original wrapper and using that ? Its possible the installation file you're using has been corrupted in some way. Obviously do a thorough un-install beforehand.
