c310 - sky knight?

hello,

can someone tell me if the c310L is considered the "sky knight"?

i know when the c310 was turbocharged it took on the designation c320, which someone subsequent named the "sky knight".

i was wondering since the c310 was quite popular whether folk also considered it the "sky knight" as well.

I may be wrong, but I think the Skyknight was actually called the Cessna 320(?) And I think it had 4 small windows on the side instead of 2?...

Indeed, Rick, the 320 was the Skynight, and the window arrangement is also correct. :-)

I also think it was a different type certificate. The C320 was larger.

Even though the C320 "Sky Night" looked like a C310 they were two different models as wesl pointed out before. It could also carry full fuel and fill all the 6 seats up and still have load left over. Also unlike the C310 the Sky Night actually has full size seats in the very back of the aircraft and they dont block the baggage compartment. Hope this info helped ;).
