Thread: Holding altitude with the DF 737?

Default Holding altitude with the DF 737?

    Hi,
I have some problems with holding altitude during an approach.
When the ALT-hold function automatically shutoff, I have to hold the altitude with the stick, but this seems to be very difficult and unrealistic, since the aircraft tends to rock very much if I do not hold the stick in position.
And I have to pull the stick very much, also because the trim has no effect at all.
    Do you have any ideas?

Hi, this sounds like a procedure error, which sim are we talking about?

    :)

Well, if you're having the autopilot fly the approach, once the glideslope is intercepted, the altitude hold button goes off. Disconnect the autopilot, and the trim should work and flying the old fashioned way should be easier.

I will try that way, but is this comparable to a real approach?
