I don't know what aeroplane or panel.cfg you are using William but the correct figures for the B737-400 are as follows:-
VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_WINDOWS=39 // RIGHT WING VIEW
VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_DIR=0.0, 0.0, 90
VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_UP_EYE=0.0, -1.0, -14.0 // Adjust last value to move fore and aft
VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=40 // LEFT WING VIEW
VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_DIR=0.0, 0.0, 270
VIEW_REAR_LEFT_UP_EYE=0.0, -1.0, -14.0 // Adjust last value to move fore and aft
VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_WINDOWS=41 // SEAT VIEW
VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_DIR=7.0, 0.0, 270
VIEW_FORWARD_LEFT_UP_EYE=0.0, -1.0, -14.0 // Adjust last value to move fore and aft
If you had a 34 in it then you have NOT used the Panel.cfg that I supplied, and if the above figures don't work then you are not even using an FFX B737-400 :-)
And please note William that these numbers are in the Panel.cfg NOT the Aircraft.cfg
How do you get the DreamFleet FMC to import and recognize FS2004 flight plans? Is this possible with the merge?
If not, how do you build a flight plan that works with the FMC? Everything else is great!
Thanks in advance,
Don G.

Don,
Make this folder in your FS2004:-
X:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Flights\myflts
Now copy a few .PLN files from FS2004 into this new "myflts" folder.
You will find these FS2004 .PLN files here:-
C:\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files
That is for WIN 9x or ME...or:-
C:\Documents and Settings\User_Name\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files
if you are using WIN XP.
Now start FS9 and get into your 737 flight deck...call up the FMC.
RTE
RSK3
LSK1
The files that you copied into your new "myflts" folder will now show, listed for your selection.
You can NOT and have never been able to EXPORT an FMC flight plan as a Flight Simulator .PLN file However, you can of course SAVE any FMC flight plan as an .fmc file and that will save to here:-
X:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Flight One Software\737 Flight Management Computer\Saved Plans
You can of course use an application like FSBuild2 to make and export an .fmc file directly into the above location...Or you can make the flight plan in the FMC itself (using the Dreamfleet manual) and SAVE it directly from the FMC.
Hi Peter, did you check this in FS9?
I ask because I have to proceed differently; the folder has to be Flight Simulator 9\Pilots, and I have to edit the flightplan slightly. The FMC can´t read FS9 formatted plans, see the details of the differences between FS2000/FS2002 and FS9 plans below. I have attached part of the readme I have made for my edit with more detailed instructions.
Best Regards, Uwe
How to import the FS9 route in the FMC...
- create a ...\Flight Simulator 9\Pilots folder
- If you use an external flightplanner like FSNavigator 4.6 or FSBuild 2.x, create and export the flightplan to FS9. Copy the *.pln files (see Peter´s post for the location of the files) to ...\Flight Simulator 9\Pilots
- if you don´t have an external flightplanner, you may use any FS9 flightplan if edited manually. Create the flight plan in FS9 and save it, then open the plan with a text editor. This is a short VOR to VOR plan from "The Gabreski" to "Kennedy Intl." that will NOT be recognized by the FMC correctly:
{flightplan}
AppVersion=9.0.30612
title=KFOK to KJFK
description=KFOK, KJFK
type=VFR
routetype=1
cruising_altitude=4500
departure_id=KFOK, N40* 51.25', W72* 37.05', +000066.99
departure_position=24
destination_id=KJFK, N40* 37.35', W73* 47.12', +000013.00
departure_name=The Gabreski
destination_name=Kennedy Intl
waypoint.0=, KFOK, , KFOK, A, N40* 51.25', W72* 37.05', +000066.99,
waypoint.1=K6, DPK, , DPK, V, N40* 47.51', W73* 18.22', +000120.00,
waypoint.2=K6, JFK, , JFK, V, N40* 37.97', W73* 46.28', +000010.99,
waypoint.3=, KJFK, , KJFK, A, N40* 37.35', W73* 47.12', +000013.00,
Simply delete the characters preceding the identifiers in the waypoint list, and copy the plan to ...\Flight Simulator 9\Pilots It sounds complicated, but can be done in less than a minute even with longer plans.

UWE,
It looks as if you have installed the FS2000 version instead of the FS2002 version...you get to choose this in the installation procedure.
When you import a .PLN the LSK1 on the FMC should read:-
IMPORT FLT PLAN
<FS2002
and NOT <FS2000
The procedures that I described in my previous post work fine with the FS2002 version of the Dreamfleet B737-400 installed in FS9 and Merged with the FFX model as described in my documents. Here is the relevant passage:-
"In the folder C:\ Flight One Software, double click the file 734setup.exe…there is no need to be on line if you have the files in there as above. You will probably be asked which Flight Simulator to install it in…always choose FS2002 (it doesn’t know about FS9)."
>- If you use an external flightplanner like FSNavigator 4.6
>or FSBuild 2.x, create and export the flightplan to FS9.
>Copy the *.pln files (see Peter´s post for the location of
>the files) to ...\Flight Simulator 9\Pilots
In Fsbuild 2.1, there is a new parameter in the fsbuild2.cfg file that you can tell Fsbuild exactly where to write the FS9 .pln file.
FS2004_PLN=C:\...\Flight Simulator 9\Pilots
This will override the default location for FSB2.
Regards.
Ernie.
Hmm, I´ll have to check that. I have installed the old FS2000 737-400 and the FS2002 update, but I´ll download the latest build of the 737-400 to see if there are differences.
What happens if you import a FS9 plan, no route discontinuities and waypoint identifiers ported over?
Cheers, Uwe
Hi, I have seen this option, but to load the plan in the FS flight planner (where I need it for the route display) it has to be in the default dir as well. The how-to´s covered in another readme.
Best, Uwe
To All,
Thanks for your help. I now can fly with FS2004 flight plans in the merged FMC.
Sincerely,
Don G.
