Peter.....runtime error 56 with FMC after your FFX-800 Merge...can you advise pl

Hi

I carried out your FFX-800 merge successfully after following your instructions but when I try to load the FMC I get a "Runtime error 56, file not found" ....Any ideas as to why this is happening. Everything else is fine.....it flys and performs beautifuly and it is such a pleasure to have this working in FS9. Thank you.

I'm getting the same error, I thought it might have been the FSUIPC.dll but I downloaded and installed teh last one about 5 mins ago and I'm still getting the same problem. Any ideas?

I thought it might have been something to do with FSUIPC, so I deleted it, still getting the same problem.

Can you confirm that you have no file in:-

D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Modules

Named "FSUIPC.dll" ?

You guys should not really use this forum to fix problems with the Merge...you should e-mail me privately. So far, you two are the only ones with this problem. I suggest that you check very carefully through the printout of the instructions to see if you have missed something.

I flew another London to Bremen and return today with the Dreamfleet-FFX B737-400 merge...both flights fully Automated under FMC control from 400 feet after take-off till touchdown. No problems and perfect VNAV and LNAV.

BTW...Please note that it is the B737-400 and NOT the B737-800 in your title to this post :-)

Confirmed that tehre is NO FSUIPC.dll in the Modules folder. I check that I done everythingI was supposed to, but I'll try the whole processa again to see how I get on. I am using the 737-400, I think that may have just been a typo in the subject line from the original author.
