How many copies sold?

I've been meaning to ask this question for some time now, but it's always slipped my mind while I'm here.

How many copies of the Archer have been sold? Will you have to shoot me if you tell me? :D Since it was the 'best seller' for fs2002, I'd kinda like to know what kind of #s it sold.

Only the stockholders know, and I suspect it will rightly stay that way. ;-)

Ah, this is the thread that Catz e-mailed me about!

Actually, when she e-mailed me, she provided the actual sales figures.

We never reveal sales figures, as we are private companies, but let's just say that our sincere thanks go to all of you who purchased the Archer.

We have little doubt in our minds that you have made it the best selling GA aircraft in the history of FS, and probably by a pretty wide margin at that. We cannot thank you enough for that. :-)

Since I'm a Piper man at heart, that means a lot, and it also means a lot because our Archer is really the virtual version of the real Archer, owned by Nels Anderson of FlightSim.com.

No more fitting a tribute to a man and his plane could there be.

Okay, I'll spill the beans...
