Archer not showing up...

Hi Guys,

I need some help with the install of the Archer for FS9. I have the download version, and I ran it (first putting in the fake cfg file as directed), then installed the service pack 1, then the update for FS9. When I run FS9, the Archer does not show up in the aircraft menu, but it DOES appear in the aircraft folder, in a folder named "Flight One PA-28." What am I doing wrong?? I did follow the instructions, and had my key verified, etc. Thanks!

Where are you looking in the aircraft menu? It should be under "Flight One - Dreamfleet" rather than "Piper"

Thanks for the help! It's showing up in a folder called "Flight One PA-28." This is in the main Aircraft folder. I do not see a folder called "Flight One Dreamfleet." Thanks again!

Flight One-Dreamfleet is not a folder per say, it's the aircraft category that the Archer is found under within FS itself. It's not categorized under the Piper menu in FS, it's in the FlightOne-Dreamfleet menu.

Look in the aircraft.cfg file for the PA-28. Under the fltsim listings you will find a line such as:

ui_manufacturer=Flight One and Dreamfleet

That designates under what heading the airplane is listed when selecting aircraft.
