There are a lot of quality aircraft for FS2000 compatible with fs2002 ( with a little editing :-) ) , but the lights spoil them in fs2002, so i've seen a few posts relating to this subject ( can they be removed? ) Well, yes they can, i've been using MDL Dissasembler/Reassembler along with Scasm 2.50 and Notepad ( a slightly different version ). Anyhow after a few hours studying the MDL files I noticed a few lines something like: ; *** Nav Lights Control Variable ***
So after deleting a few lines from this area and so on.....and on.........and on....I reasembled started up FS2002, and they were no longer there, well thats not quite true. I got rid of the nav and strobe lghts but cant find the Variable for the beacon lights ( the red flashing one!) I also managed to add new Bitmaps for night lighting textures ( _LM ) Thats the easy part......lol

Anyway, IT CAN BE DONE..and I aint got a clue about programing :)

Just hope I aint done nothing wrong, hope this isnt breaking the rules, after all I am not uploading these and claiming them to be my work.....
