Default Does the C310 use Machine Binding?

LAST EDITED ON Jul-11-03 AT 04:47PM (EDT)[p] Does the C310 use machine binding? If so, is there any limit to the number of reinstalls within the confines of the new wrapper/validation rules. I don't mind having to go through the process as many times as it takes but I'm looking for a guarantee that a key will always be available. I've already been told by one vendor that four reinstalls a year is excessive and won't be supported. I'm just trying to be sure I know the rules before buying.

Hi Doug, I think you'll find the answer to your question here (fourth paragraph).

Thanks Gianluca. I saw that. But it's not specific to the C310 - "The used of machine binding is also implemented. Although it may not always be used for every title, some titles may use this feature." I guess I can download it and execute the wrapper to find out. But I just thought it would be easier to ask first.

Our wrapping system, and policies concerning it should NOT be confused with systems / policies that may be used by other developers.

We are very understanding and FLEXIBLE when it comes to accommodating our customers. :-)

Thanks for the verification Lou. I didn't think you'd leave any of us hanging out there in the breeze. But I didn't think that of the Other Guys either - 'til it was too late. The credit card is out and I'm downloading now.

Thanks Lou. I can vouch for your security system. It is very user friendly and protects the customer as well as Dreamfleet.
That is one of the reasons(as well as the fact that Dreamfleet produces the best addons there are) that I will buy everthing you produce.
