I read your question the first time, but I must admit that I couldn't figure out what you were asking. In particular, I was puzzled about that "offset" bit.
While you might consider rephrasing, I can at least tell you what the course display and knob are for. When you want to intercept and/or track a VOR radial (VORLOC) or ILS localizer (APP), you need to set the radial you want to be on. It's equivalent to the rotating scale on a traditional VOR instrument.

Hi Henrik,
Thanks for your approach, I understand the function of that.
What I am looking for is the offset for that function " course ",
offset are hexadecimals which access the value of a variable in FS. ( see FSUIPC for programmers.doc )
