Alternating landing lights

Does anyone know how to make your lights (landing) alternate on and off, like 737's do for real?

I know of no other way than to flip the switch on and off repetedly. In Flight Unlimited 3, the landing lights would alternate. Oh well...

you would think someone out there in the FSX World Would make a Alternating Landing Lights addon. beeing how there pretty neat and among other things. But i have beem searching throughout Google and i got ALOT of hits Mainly Forums like this. I havent come across any files or downloads etc. Freeware or Payware. If i had the teck to edit files i would More than happy add this effect. I mean on the 737s theres a Switch [WingLights] in VC that doesnt do anything........If anyone Comes across a file Let us know.

Since landing lights and taxi lights look the same, I think it should be possible to make a gauge file that will alternately turn one off and the other on. The aircraft would probably have to be built from the start with this feature in mind, unless you have access to the source code.

BTW EAS WhiteFang, this is the FS2002 forum. All VC switches do nothing in FS2002 AFAIK. And, a "FSX ... Alternating Landing Lights addon" most likely won't do FS2002 users much good. Oh, one more thing... you might want to check the date of the last post in any topic to which you're replying. This one was more than 10 years old when you resurrected it.
