Default 727: A LITTLE SOMETHING FROM NICK JACOBS

As you know by now, one of the options on the 727 will be:

BTW, that's a screen shot of it! :-)

    Nice work, Nick.

You Sure that's a screen shot? It looks like it belongs in the real plane. :-) I can't wait to get behind the controls of that plane. But I guess I will have to try and remain patient until the release, because like with all Dreamfleet products, the wait is worth it.

    Thanks for posting that Lou.

Yes, that's a FS2002 screenshot of the Dreamfleet 727 (EFIS panel version) EHSI in ARC mode.

Just before Christmas I mentioned we'd post a screenshot or two in the near future and here's one to kick off with.

Undoubtedly the thing you'll notice most is the full antialiasing compared to previous versions but what you can't tell from the image is how fluid and smooth the animation is; it's very very good.

For the technically minded, it's written in a combination of C++ and assembly.

We'll post some of the EADI shortly so stay tuned.

    Regards
    Nick

PS Where's my banner gone? :-)

Bloody programmers, it's always the real easy stuff they mess up!:-lol

Will call you soon, as I have a bunch of 310 gauges ready to send you. :-)

when we are seeing people turning to tools that make gauges. My compliments to someone that still uses assembly. It takes more time and knowledge but makes the difference.

    Looking forward for the 727

If it can then will this result in smoother gauge performance in VCs
