problems .please,help me

this is what happened sice i have reinstalled msfs2002,i have downloaded the version 8.1 direct x but it still the same.
i also have installed the last driver of my vdo card

gmt athlon p4 &.5ghz
ram 512
graphic card:hercules 4000xt

I use WinME so this may not be of much use to you, but here is some text I refer to when I want to mess with video drivers:-

Selecting a driver:-

Display Properties
Settings Tab
Advanced button
Adaptor Tab
Change Button
Place DOT in “Specify a list of the drivers in a specific location (advanced)”
NEXT
Place DOT in “Display a list of the drivers in a specific location so you can select the driver you want”
NEXT

A list of drivers will be presented, including “Standard PCI Graphics Adaptor (VGA) [6-8-2000]”

Select this one if you wish to install a new driver.

NEXT

The picture will go rather basic with few colours and 800x600.

Restart the machine and install your new driver.
When done, find your latest DirectX and double click it to re-install it.

I don't gaurantee anything, but it works for me :-)

i have tried what you did,looks like ok now.
but everytime i am on full screen my pc get stuck,and the only way to close fs2002 is to reset the pc.any idea?
thanks anyway for your time and advises.

I've just checked another forum and others seem to have troubles in full screen with some late NVidia drivers. Here is Katy Pluta's answer to one:-
