    Default GA 737 Package

Hi, I've heard so much about the GA737 package originally designed for FS2000 that I am now consdiering it's purchase. I have FS2002 PRO installed and was just wondering that if I a there is a newer version that will not require me to download other patches and/or reconfigure my system so it will work in FS2002. I don't want to go through too much hassle to install this package, I simply want to put in the CD('s), follow the instructions, and fly.

Thanks in advance for a reply,

Whether you buy [link:www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=FLT-GRT-001|the boxed version] or [link:flight1.com/esd-products.asp?product=ga737|the download version], or even the so-called "Special Edition" including a video, you won't need any patches.

You can, but I'm sure I won't be the only one to caution you that such an attitude to this package is NOT going to get you in the air - it takes hours of study to get this package to work properly.
Just mastering the FMC could take you weeks, and that's using the manual.
It is simply not something you can just get in and fly - as the myriad posts in this forum and the copious manuals demonstrate.

However, I believe that the installation process from the CD's is simplicity personified, so at least that part of it is easy.

It is not all that hard but does take a few readings of the manual and practice practice but you will be delighted with the 737.
