Not that you guys need anymore requests for new planes to make.. but you are designers, this is your forum, and this is my 2 cents worth.

I am really into training and learning to fly (real life) , so to me the ideal line up in GA would be: C150, a decent 172, 172 RG, you already got the archer, and a piper seminole.. all excellent trainers.

Well, we're doing the Cardinal 177 (going into beta next week), so do not expect any 172s from us. The 177 will have to do.

We're also doing the panel / gauges for the Flight One C-152 "Pro Trainer", which was announced a couple of weeks ago, so.....;-)

As to the Seminole, you'll have to settle for the Cessna 310. That's what I got my MEL rating in, and it made for a good trainer for me! ;-)

Looks like we have your bases pretty well covered, eh?

Thanks for the suggestions though, we're always open to hearing them. :-)

I'm not aware of any screenshots being available, however here was the press release:

    C152 Pro Trainer

"Flight One is proud to reveal C152 Pro Trainer to the public, for the very first time. This hybrid package featuring elements of flight simulation software and state of the art Computer Based Training is designed to start a budding pilot down the correct path for success.

Jim Rhoads, product development manager on the C152 Pro Trainer states, "I have been looking forward to leading an FS based title into the real aviation market for quite some time, and am quite proud of the direction that this product is taking so far. The purpose of this package is to truly assist a pilot in continuing his training regime after he leaves the airport. You can expect a stunning visual representation of the aircraft and panel but this package is geared for the real aviator in training.

What is a training package without more than just the plane and panel? Tom Main, project lead for the training package, answers that question. "Without a great training environment, we have created without a doubt, the most realistic General Aviation add-on of all time, with the 152, but we are looking to do more. This is where the Situation Based Cognitive Trainer comes into the picture. Months of work and study have gone into the training front end with the entire goal being to provide Airline Quality training to the General Aviation pilot. We are looking at taking a new student pilot right up through his check ride with this training package by giving him many lessons covering everything from weather, to aircraft systems, checklist procedures, and even prepping him for the written test with FAA prep testing."

    84Charlie: The Knoxville Flyer
"Not just any Cardinal is being modeled. This is N1384C of the Knoxville Flyers, flying club. Every detail found in the real aircraft is found in this great product. Even club members who regularly fly 84C where blown away by the realism. Everything from the instrument panel, to the aircraft exterior, and even the seats have been expertly captured using digital photography. All this has been done to roll out this product at Air Venture for a special introductory price. The Knoxville Flyer will go on sale publicly after Oshkosh, so if you want the first crack at it, come visit the booth."
