Default Only one and only patch for Archer II

    Hello all,

As times goes since the release of the Archer, I just wanted to share an observation with you :

Dreamfleet only needed ONE and only patch to make the Archer operational since, no complaints and or bugs are reported anymore in the forum .

This is rare enough to be mentioned, as other add ons makers needs an endless series of patches.

    Thanks to the Dreamfleet team.

    Tony

I completely agree and let me add just this:

The patch released addressed ONLY a refinement of what was done and did not correct any BUGS. Why? Because there were NO BUGS !!!

Congratulations to Dreamfleet who, in fact, establishes an example to be followed by any and all developer out there, both in terms of quality and user assistance.

Very good point Tony. I've been a long time owner of the DF734 (and hopefully the Archer soon :-) ) and have not experienced one single problem. Keep up the fantastic work Dreamfleet!

Gee, I wish I could come up with something else to say all the time than "your kind words are much appreciated", but that statement seems to work best! ;-)

Time is VERY valuable to us, as it is to you, and as such, we can not tolerate needing more than one patch for anything.

We go into a project knowing that despite having a ton of beta testers (we had 50% more testers on the Archer than a recently released airliner product from another developer had, and the 737 had over 10 times as many testers than that same product) that we will still will need a "patch". So, we go in with our eyes wide open, and deal with it. We do not want to spend our lives patching, we want to spend our lives developing new products for you!

Guess what, we're just in the early stages of development of our Cessna 310, and upon release, and despite out best efforts, it too will need a patch. That's the nature of the beast when dealing with 5 different operating systems, and myriad system configurations. We'd rather admit it, than say the impossible; "this product will be bug free".

    :-lol

I paid $625 for Photoshop, and as great a program as it is, even it is not bug free! So, who's kidding whom, eh?

Just telling it like it is.

Again, thanks for your remarks, and all I can say is that we'll do our best.

    Regards,
