Thread: FSUIPC 2.85

    Default FSUIPC 2.85

Has anybody experienced problems using FSUIPC 2.85 with the DF737? I have just bought FS Meteo 5.1 and it came with FSUIPC 2.85. It suggested that this version should be used and I replaced my existing v2.83 (deleted ini file etc). Since installing 2.85, the auto pilot will not work correctly. It will not climb and the vs,lvl ch and alt hold will not light up. This worked fine with FSUIPC 2.83.

    Simon,

I did a short flight from Hamburg to London last night, 444 miles. I am running FS_Meteo 5.1 and FSUIPC 2.85. 114,000 lbs takeoff weight. Raining in Hamburg at 0300Z. Took off RW15, flew to 1000ft engaged LNAV, VNAV then AP. Climbed to 33000 in 13 minutes. VNAV descent to 22000, VS to 11000 and down to 2300. Worked normally for the whole trip ... FS_Meteo on the while way. Light winds aloft last night.

    Paul,

Thanks for your reply. Sounds like there is not a problem with the DF737/FSUIPC 2.85 combination. Its probably my settings. I have had some information and advice from Peter Dowson and hopefully I will now be able to sort the problem.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Regards,

    Simon

    Hi Simon,

Do you mind to reply me the settings suggested by Dowson? I'm still using 2.83 because I had problems with 2.84 and 2.85. There is a new Control item which seems to be the point. Thanks in advance.

I experience the same problems as you discripted. I have had problems to capture ILS and to descend to a lower level. After taken over manual control, it took a while before the plane started to react.

    I will test your suggestion.

I had a problem with very low framerates when flying online with DF737! I found out that when closing down the FMC, then framerates go back to normal. I hope that this problem will be solved soon...
