    Default MCP Hdg quirk

After making a hdg change on the MCP--say more than ten degrees left, the plane does a quick turn right before it tracks the hdg left. Maybe a post has already been made on this which I haven't yet found. This behavior also occurs when laying in a course change to track a particular radial. I'd appreciate any help on this someone might offer.

    Thanks,

That is a side effect in 2k2 caused by the removal of the wing leveler becoming active with the AP on switch. It happens to all aircraft that do not have the automatic wing leveler.

To get around this, use ctrl+v to activate the wing leveler before activating heading hold.

    All the best,
