No FMC Keyboard in Full Screen Mode

Recently installed DF734 in FS2K2 and have only one problem to solve. In full screen mode after activating the FMC (docked), I only get the CDU page data display- no keyboard bitmap. Works OK if undocked or in windowed mode. I've researched a couple of threads here on the forum with similar problems, but suggestions are few.
I've re-installed DF734 with no change.
Makes for a frustrating flight.......
Any suggestions?

Hi:-)

I was changeing the high colour/true colour settings on my
monitor and sim to see what difference in performence there
would be and found the same thing ' no bmp for the FMC'
see that your sim hardware and desktop settings are the same
ie 1024@768/32 bit hardware and desktop, the FMC shows ok when
both settings are the same.

Tried your suggestion, but no change. Still no keypad or mode keys. Anyone else with this problem? I'm about to permanently park this thing. Without the FMC, it's not much fun.

I haven't noticed anyone else with this problem, so I'd say it's probably isolated to your installation. I'd suggest an uninstall/reinstall of the update and the original 734 - making sure to manually delete any 734 and Flight One folders after running the uninstaller through add/remove programs. This usually always fixes unusual problems like this.

Had the same problem!
Flying without FMC is not my thing ...
So what I did:

I have a PIII@800MHz, 348MB PC133SDRAM, 32MB RIVA TNT2 video card. Running FS2002 with DF under WIN98SE was not possible ...
My system did nothing but crashing!

So I installed WINXP and since then it works perfectly and frames are great! I don´t know what was wrong but since I installed XP I flew about 10 hours without one crash or not-drawn bitmap!

Sorry that I am not able to give you a cheaper solution
