    Check auto pilot. Sounds like it is on. Also be sure if using a joystick that it is enabled.

    You may want to check the "what not" again, 'cause otherwise I've been driving this plane on the ground for the last 100 hours. ;-)

    <Sarcasm off>

    Like was mentioned above, check your autopilot and controller. Also, check to make sure you are not overweight (if you loaded Loadmaster and full fuel, I can almost guarantee you're overweight.....the plane that is. :-)).

    You can no longer engage the Autopilot on the ground...if you have the final patch.

    Are you trying to do your takeoff at Megis or some other short
    field???? If so no go...have a flatbed haul you to LAX and then
    try it with the proper T/O trim...hint not in the middle of the
    green

    Glad that one solved...minor correction...the plane did not
    veer off the runway...you as pilot sent in it that direction
    admitedly without intention...try a slow run down the runway
    at 30 then 50 then 80 then 100 then 150 knots until you get
    a better "feel" for the aircraft and your stick...don't forget
    to stop before your out of cement he he
