KBED to KMVY (turboprop)? Cape Air flies it, and it is only 72nm.

Well United Express just closed the KSTS-KSFO service, which was fifty miles in a B1900D. That's the shortest I can think of.

I've flown PIT to CAK (Akron) on a US Airways Dornier 328, and flight time was 17 min. (61 nm). It was a hassle, but it was much cheaper than flying direct to CLE from DFW!

Well I know United used to run KOAK-KSFO and back with 727's - my dad flew it once or twice, said they never even put the gear up!

The shortest flight I've been on recently is UAL KTUS-KPHX which takes about 20 mins in an A320.

United Express (SkyWest) currently flies Orange County to Los Angeles and Ontario to Los Angeles in EMB120 Brasilias. Both have flying times of about 9 minutes, and they are always full.

I see some good guesses but no one yet hit the jackpot. I admit the answer is a bit difficult. I will post it later tonight.
