Internal Cockpit Views

I've read a lot of support for the internal cockpit views and that's great.

However, I'm not a fan and I'm wondering if it's possible to get rid of the interior pictures of the cockpit and replace them with outside views around the aircraft.

Love the product, just not a big fan of the cockpit .bmp's.
I tried removing them into a separate folder and now there's just "black" whenever I try to look around.

You can disable the views in the aircraft config file.

Couldn't you just go to the (empty) virtual cockpit view with "S" and look around without any obstructions?

Yeah, you could that, but wouldn't that also remove the main panel. I think he only wants to get rid of the side and rear quartering views - but I could be wrong.

But there is no main panel with those views :-)

Yes, I'm looking only to remove the quarter images and the one image that displays the cabin when you should be looking directly down. but I'm not looking to get ride of the panel itself. I just find looking at the side and quarter views too obstructing. Perhaps it's more realistic, but I'd like to be able to have the views.
