Thread: how to insert personal intersection in FMC

  1. Default how to insert personal intersection in FMC

    Hallo,
Do someone know how to insert, in the legs page, a waypoint like, for example, 25 dme xxx VOR on 316° radial or, another example, the interesction of 250° radial of yyy VOR and 93° of zzz VOR. This is the only way (with a normal behaviour of VNAV) to do an automatic instrumental approach as published in a normal approach chart that is ALWAYS different from the standard RX-RW-MA point

Yes, its all in the FMC manual.

Use the FIX page to create the point then transfer it to your legs page. Dead Easy.
I use FSNav, its so easy to insert a waypoint wherever you want, then use a VOR or NDB as a bearing point and viola, theres the data you need to enter into the FMC FIX page.
I could do a full story board with PICs etc to show you how, but its all in the FMC manual and its easy to do so......
