What a beautiful site!!!

I walked outside this morning at 6:30 AM, when I heard it first, then looked up. Low and behold! A Cessna flew over my house, within a half mile of the Hudson river. The first time I have seen this since 9-11.

Indeed, with the exception of a 2 mile zone around the WTC, the airspace restrictons have been lifted in the NYC area, and the GA aircraft are beginning to take to the skies again, even much of the Hudson river is open for flying again, except for that zone I mentioned.

Let's hope this will last. :-)

That reminds me, I have to fill out that application for the flying club I want to join! ;-)
