Thread: Question for Tom Main.

  1. #1

    Default Question for Tom Main.

Hi Tom, I'm a big fan of a program called Ultimate Airlines. Maybe you're not the right person to ask, but I was wondering if in time this program might be made compatible with 2002. I like it so much that I would not mind paying for an upgrade if that's what it would take. Just wondering.

    Thanks.

Here's a link to the JustFlight site describing how to get UA working for FS2002. I also love this program and am using it with FS2002, albeit a little restricted.

    Hope this helps.

    Gianluca,

As soon as I can be left alone for a few days, that is the product I will be working on :-) We are doing a completely new version for fs2002.

    Tom,

Fantastic! I love UA and was hoping to see an upgrade for 2K2. Any details yet on the new version?

    Lou,

Hey wait a minute, I thought you were busy with the Archer and the 727... :-)

BTW, wasn't there talk at one time about optional upgrades being made available for the 737-400 at a later date? If so, are those plans still in place?

Keep up the good work guys!

You'd be surprised at what one can do when working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, with time off for dinner out and a good Martini, of course! ;-)

    Hi,

Instead of using the workaround posted at the JustFlight site, why don't you download this this little exe file.

    http://www.flight1software.com/UA2K2BETA1.zip

It makes the basic functions of Ultimate Airlines work with FS2002 directly so you do not have to copy files. No new functionality is added, as this would come in something down the road. But it is still a very fun and functional program. And it works well with the 737 also!

It is a beta update, but give it a try.
