    Default FS9 or FSX?

    Hey!
    Maybe I think...
I want to try to make sceneries for MS Flight Simulator.
I'm new in scenery making, but it has always been a attraction point to me...
Presently I fly FS9, and this is great! I've tried FSX but I don't like it for several reasons, mainly because FS9 offers almost anything a simmer can whish and FSX offers mainly slower frame rate on my computer, and less addon sceneries...
I now want to try SceneGenX and I'm not sure what I will do for the best: making things for FS9 or making things for FSX?
My question is: what do I preferably do, install the SceneGenX update for FSX or just keep only the update for FS9, from the http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/airportsupport/ website? In other words: if I install also the FSX-update for SceneGenX, and start making sceneries, for FS9 in my situation, will I be able to use my productions for FS9 as well as for FSX?
The thing is: if I start and try making sceneries, I rather would do so for my own use with FS9, but... will these sceneries be usable in FS9 as well, ... That is what would make my decision easier.
I would like to hear some opinions on this...

    Default RE: FS9 or FSX?

For FS9, you can install SGX and make Airport Scenery. For FSX, you will need FSX deluxe, since it contains the SDK, which has the BglComp.exe and other files needed to compile in FSX. There are updates available from:

    http://www.fsinsider.com/Pages/default.aspx

that provide the latest files available. You will need the FSX deluxe SDK installed or you will not be able to retrieve the latest files from the download.
