    Hello friendly simmers

I have uploaded 3 sceneries now and am trying to make more, but, Airport does not seem to package all the textures.

Some of my testers get messages, scenery object not found, others have missing textures. like in the enclosed pictures.

I added a sign to a macro already made, the macro works fine but the sign is not there.

Everything is perfect on my computer, why can I not package it all and it does not work on other people machines? I have more then one tester so it is not their set up.

Please help, I have more ready to upload

    Thanks for your help.

Well, here is something I just discovered. Think I need a pretty good shrink.

Look at these picts please, I am using a ghost texture. This is one of those textures missing on my testers' computers but not on mine.

But it does NOT exist in my Window Explorer anywhere, then, why does it let me use it in Airport?

Is there a doctor in the house? Please help, I have medical benefits.

You are looking at a foreshortened file name, not the full filename. The file does exist on your computer otherwise it cannot use it. It is possibly the one to the left of 'Where is it?'

In AFW check the texture for the polygon you used.

    Thanks Ken,

I know it has to be there, but how to tell for sure which one it is and how can I make this work, package it I mean?

If you look at the picture I included, the picture is from the window of APW

I just made a test and notice, it changes the name of the texture as it is transfered from the selection window to APW, so the texture name in my main texture folder is changed from that used by APW hence, it is probably why it is not packaging it. Why is that, how can I fix this please?

    Thanks

    Leon,

Be bold - take the texture you want to use, make a copy, rename it with a really short name i.e. mytex.bmp, save it in FS2002\textures, use it for the polygon and then see if it packages it.
