Thread: Error messages

  1. Default Error messages

When I open FS and go to the scenery that I am working on I get an error message stating that some scenery objects can not be found. It then lists some numbers like this ID=0x4e6f7661, 0x32303030 etc. I would appreciate anyone who might help in running these numbers down so that I can Identify the problem.

    Thanks, JAM

  2. Default RE: Error messages

Hi Jam... It sounds like FS2002 is not finding one or more library objects needed for the scenery you're opening. I had this problem after originally doing a full install of the sim and it required me to individually install some files from one of the .cab file groups on the CD.

Another possibility is that you may have created one or more library objects (GMAX objects, add-on trees, etc, etc) and the scenery .bgl is calling them but they are misplaced and not located in the scenery folder being called by the .bgl.
