Cannot find modern military aircraft static APIs. Any ideas? Also: is there a way to convert gmax to api? Thx :)

***Hi, I don't know of a library source for mil aircraft static api's, however, you can create your own "user api's" by using a utility by Trevor de Steiger named "MDLtoBgl" or similar. The last known address I had for his website was:

    http://www.globe.net.nz/tdseig/index.htm

'Not sure the utility will do the latest FS default aircraft, however, there are lots of good mil aircraft add-ons available in the earlier versions of MSFS which it will work on.

GMAX objects are being converted to library objects which are then called by .api files, using a utility called FSregen last known available at:

    http://www.nhreas.com/fsregen.html

    Good Luck; Be Careful...

The concept is new to me. Could you recommend some reading on this? Thx :)

Hi Den... 'New to me also :-). There may be a tutorial or user manual for the FSRegen software. There's a macro listed in Reply number 7 to Reading Topic number 740 of the Avsim.com Scenery Design Forum which posts a macro written by Arno Gerretsen to call library objects.

    'Hope this Helps...
