    Default Initial position

I changed the position of the airport I am designing to be more accurate to real life. I have created "Initial Positions" for each runway but each time I load FS2002, the aircraft is positioned over the default location (which no longer exists). So the plane is sitting off the runway.

Is there a way to remedy this situation?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
You will have to create a new afd entry for the airport.
I am fairly new to this but there is an option in AFW to do this.
Instructions will be found in the last part of the tutorial after Part 4.
Another way perhaps would be to use AFCAD utility to open the file and use notepad to manually edit the start positions.
I am unclear however if it is an existing airport or a fictitious add on.
My tuppence worth...looked sad not getting any replies.

    Default RE: Initial position

I should have posted the answer to my own question. But I figured it out by using AFCAD. I removed the default afd file and replaced it with the one I created.

    Thanks for replying though.
