Thread: Searching my drive C for scenery in FS95 getting an error message.

  1. Default Searching my drive C for scenery in FS95 getting an error message.

    HI

When I attempt to search my drive C to install my new scenery in FS95 I get an error message. This occurs when I use Airport 2:10. The message says

    Illegal operation
FLTSIM95 caused a stack fault in module Kernel32.DLL

I have been able to get around this by manually installing my scenery into the Library by going into 'Add Scenery' and typing the address in. This enables me to use my installed scenery. The problem is, I am not able to get to the airport via the 'Go To Airport' option. It is not listed there. How can I fix this? The only way I have got around this is to go into 'Set Exact Location' type in the coocrdiates, slew to the runway and save the flight. I can then access the scenery via the 'Select Flight Option. How can I make my scenry availabe through the 'Go to Airport' option?

    Thanks

With your scenery design open in the Airport working screen, place your cursor where you'd like to have a start position, then right click your mouse and select the "Initial Position" menu option. You can place the heading in degrees within the window the will pop up.

When finished placing the Initial Position, compile you new scenery.bgl file then start FS and select the World/Go To menu. You may have to select another option withing the Go To menu for your installed scenery.

You will find more information within the Airport210 Tutorial that's found in the Help menu of the Airport working screen.

I hope this one helps ya too!
