Hiya Tom I downloaded Airport 2.60 recently and I must say it's a excellent program however I'm not to good when it comes to scenery and stuff though. My problem is whenever I generate and compile the BGL I always get this error message: "WARNING- Texture File: airport001.oav is not in flightsim directory Scenery will not show correctly. Continue Checking textures? Y/N." Do you know the problem? Am I skiping something? I have just one more question: How do I get docking gates for airliners? and I work for a VA called Appalachian Express Air(AEA)and I would like to design some buildings for them and just buildings. Can I get the exact location of the building and build it will that work? or will it mess up the airport? :-hmmm

There's a set of airport.oav textures that haven't been installed the the texture directory. These textures will be for items like trees, buildings etc. Those textures need to be installed in the FS2000 texture directory.

Hi David, Thanks for letting me know but I have FS98 would it still be the same problem? If so would it be a .dll file? :-roll

No, same answer for FS98. The texture files need to be in the \Texture subdirectory under the FS directory. Otherwise, FS will not find them and you will have weird things happen when you're flying.

Tom I'm sorry but could you be a bit more clear in your answer?

Its simple, look in your Airport directory and you'll see a texture folder. Also open your FS98 or FS2K folder and you'll see the texture directory. Using Ctrl A to highlight all the texture files in the Airport texture directory then drag and drop them into the FS98/texture directory. Your done!

Do all texures used in layer polygons have to be in the default texture folder? If they are 'home produced' texture files can they not go in the scenery/texture folder?

I believe that FS2000 looks in both the \Texture subdirectory off the main directory and any specific \texture directories next to the \scenery directories under scenedb.

So why when I add a texture in 'my' scenery\texture airport says texture file not found in FS Folders? as the first poster asks?
