Thread: Martinair Virtual

  1. Default Martinair Virtual

    Hello to you all!

I would love it to create my own Virtual Airline, with a great, magnificant looking site and, of course, people who would like to join

The fact is, too build, AND stay exist, you need help. It is not possible to do all things and stuff by yourself.

My question is, are there any people here who would like to join the staff, and, above all , don't feel bad about me as a Staff Director/Airline director (ai, that's the bad news ).

I need people who like to get work and time in it, and can build websites (1 or 2 people for the website, of course everybody (staff members) can vote on the look, I will cut the rope, but it will be fair.

The airline will be as realistic as possible, real aircraft, quantity of aircraft, and maybe a tracking system: when an aircraft is flown to a destination, it needs to get back to EHAM (the HUB), before it can leave from there.
Also there will be a PIREP available, with off-line and on-line possibility, off-line flights will not count for rating-hours, but offline you can practice.

What our airline will stand for is Proffesionality! We fly online using the VATSIM network, and above all, we have fun in flying, but we take care of everything properly and proffesional.
Maybe there is a chanche of any flight-school/tests for joining pilots when the airline has settled.

There will be a Cargo-department too (just as in the real airline). All pilots need to fly Cargo-flights at least twice a year, furthere there will (for this time) no minimum flight-limit per period.

Of course, I will ask the real Martinair for allowance using their name.

But before this can all happen, I need volunteers, let me know.
My ICQ number is in my profile, my MSN-address is collindejong@hotmail.com

When once you have tasted flight, you will always walk the earth with your head turned skyward, for there you have been there and you will always be

Virtual Airlines are very complicated... And realy, to be sucesfull you need a domain name... (www.???.com) You need to think about the following things:

    - How much you want to spend (Most websites now cost money, and for va systems such as automated hour updates cost money - You need to study the html of websites on how to install them)

    - Fleet - You need to find all the aircraft, for fs in all liveries for it to be sucesfull.

    - Legal - Do you have permsion off Martinair to use their name, logo, and identity... (It is illegal without)

    - Timetables - timetables of charter airlines like Martinair are almost impossible to get hold of.

E-mail me at the adress below for some help. I can use simple free website creators such as Geocitis for making the site, and would be willing to do it for free. But this way you could not use the automating system. I would recomend that you atleast try a smaller airline.
