    Default Scenery error

    Could someone possably go to KLAN and tell me if they see this off RWY 6? I reinstalled, still get it. Is it just me?

    John5595,

    The area that appears as a "black hole" is actually a small body of water at that end of the airport. If you want to fix the problem, open the scenery.cfg file in the FS2002 folder. Use Windows Notepad.

    Find Area.003 and at the end of it enter the following line:

    Flatten.0=861,N42 46.77,W84 36.19,N42 46.96,W84 34.22,N42 46.22,W84 34.21,N42 46.11,W84 36.18

    It's very important to make sure that you put the spaces exactly where I have put them in the line above. When you close the file, also make sure you save your changes. Run FS2002 and you should see a pretty blue lake where the giant hole was before. If you have any problems, email me at russruss@nvbell.net
