Pilot Matter

Dear New VA CEOs,

Have you been on an everlasting journey for pilots? Do you have a hard time trying to get your goals accomplished, because of not having a good flow of pilots? Well i know I do. I'm the owner of a small VA, the name of wich I will not reveal in this post. By Posting this, i don not mean in any way to make of any one, or anything.

My VA has only been around since April 2002, and since then I have had nere to none pilots fying for me. This has made it EXTREMLY hard to expand. Again I will says i do not mean to make fun of anyone, but personaly I blame it on the bigger VA's. I'm not saying in any way what so ever that I wish for these great companys to just shut down all opperation, but to simply cut down on over advertising.

The reson I will not reveal my name or the VA i'm the CEO of, is because that would be the the exact opposite of what I'm trying to promote.

Well, I don't know what to tell you. As the former CEO of a VA (Virtual Korean Air, shut down by real Korean Air), I can understand where you're coming from. However, your site makes all the difference when trying to run/start a VA. Having a VA with a www.geocities.com/~blahairlines domain is a big turn off for people who are looking for an airline. Even though your site may have a professional look, just the domain name is a weak point. Consider getting a cheap webhosting company, who will purchase your domain for you for approx. 25-30$ and set it all up for you. All you need to do is design the site. Although my site was fairly simple, I did own the domain www.virtualkoreanair.com, and I had over 20 pilots within the first 2 weeks. How you present yourself to the online community will determine how many pilots you will get.

Alex,
I'm not sure what your goal is in your post. You say you have no pilots flying for you, and you do not even give an inkling of what your VA is about or where you fly, or any other info. Are you looking for pilots? What is the name of your VA? Do you have a web site?

I don't understand at all what you are trying to promote! Unless there is a point to the entire message, it is likely to be introduced to the "Remove" function of the forum software.

Try registering your VA with the world virtual airlines registry

Dear Everyone,

Ok. My VA name is Shuttle North 2002. We fly in the Northern part of the USA. We fly A319's, 320's, 321's, 340's, ERJ-145's, 135's, and R1900D. the site is http://www.myvirtualairline.org, but we are almost finished re-building our site, after about a month of downtime. Yes we are registered under http://www.vareg.org .
