Hi all,
We are all awaiting the iminent release of Dreamfleet's 727 package. ConnEx already has plans to operate this aircraft out of two of its operating centers alongside its dedicated 737-300 freighter fleet. Also talks are in progress on two other Boeing favourites (payware of course) being added to the freighter side of the virtual business to give us good standing in the VA enviroment with regard to Cargo Ops. Virtual contracts using daily scheduled multi stop flights around Europe, and night mail contracts around the UK are shortly to be augmented along with a proposed heavy and bulk lift ad hoc service.
Also being discussed is the opening of two operation centers within the UK bringing the total ammount within ConnEx to 5 centers in the Uk, specialising in charter destinations throughout Europe. Propsed operating centers are Gatwick, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cork or Belfast. Each will be veiwed on merit, facilities offered, cost and future development.
Also on the list for Nov/Dec intime for Xmas fops is our 767 Atlantic service including the Prestwick to Montreal via Manchester service, and long awaited Stansted to Newark.
The career structure and program have been finalised now, making it worthwhile becoming a Captain rather than plain old hour building.
There is lots going on behind the doors at ConnEx. I did hear Rob had something up his sleeve with regards to the flying club, will have to see.
caoi all
Liam
ConnEx Operations Officer
