    GMAX is often used for aircraft design. However, I believe it is only available with FS2002 Professional Version (not Standard Version).

    GMAX only comes with FS2002 Professional edition (I own both versions) and I don't think to much of GMAX. Your best bet is to get Abacus FSDS Pro (Flight Simulator Design Studio Professional)
    it costs $29.99 to download it.
