    Default Tapping into FS2002

I would like to build a simple annunciator panel that would light up indicator lights corresponding to my cockpit indicators.

I was going to ask if there was a way to do it, but after looking at some of the cockpits in this forum, I'm just going to ask how.

    Lots of impressive work here!!

    Thanks,
    Brian G

Its possible with FSUIPC and some programming (like VB, C+, etc).
You can download the FSUIPC SDK.
You can start from 12 lights with some transistors attached to printer port (default output of printer port is 12 bits), up to ..say .. 512 lights is posible.. :)

You can use an interface that I posted on other topik here, it use FSUPIC and Visual Basic via printer port for displaying 8 lights, and reading the VB source code (and FSUIPC SDK - download from FSUIPC site) will give you a start....
Simple latching usind some logic ICs will expand the circuit for many outputs, including some digit display (7-segments)...

Hope that will help a little... good luck :)

Or you can use FSBUS where you will use just one serial port and can expand with new modules when you have a need. There is a LED-module that can drive 32 leds (or something else if you stick in a relay, though there is a whole separate relay-module too)

It's possible in a number of ways yeah, but I am happy I found FSBUS since I cannot do much programming (apart from enough Perl to survive and some PHP, but that is really nothing useful in this stuff) - and I only have one parallel port in my computer :-)

www.fsbus.de - though it must have been mentioned many times here already.
