New to this forum and would like your opinion on the following.

I am very keen to eventually have a 180degree 5 screen set up for outside view and I have seen an example of this on the "wideview" site.

With "state of art" technology, would you consider it possible to go for a couple of high spec PCs each running 2 monitors as opposed to each monitor being run by it's own PC.

(struggling here explaining this)

Please note I am talking here about running 5 outside views with the minimum number of PCs.
My understanding is that the client PCs, for the above, would only have to process a limited amount of info and no AI traffic so basically the question, in a nutshell, is..........

Would one high spec PC running 2 monitors be as good an option as 2 lower spec PC's running individual monitors.

I would imagin that building a medium spec PC with older, tried and tested, CPU's and cards would be relatively cheap....... but would 2 of them be as good as one high spec/dual card set up.

Also which would be the cheapest WTG

PHEW !

Regards,
Martin
